Accessibility Engineer

About the role

The work includes accessibility audits, issue triage, design reviews, launch reviews, and guidance based on current accessibility standards.

What you'll do

• Audit web, Android, and Apple-platform experiences with assistive technologies and automated tools.
• Triage accessibility issues by user impact, priority, and the engineering work required to resolve them.
• Review designs and implementations for focus behavior, semantics, component choices, and other accessibility requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated accessibility checks that complement manual testing.
• Review features before release and document clear, actionable remediation guidance.

What we're looking for

• Experience evaluating digital products with screen readers, other assistive technologies, and accessibility testing tools.
• Working knowledge of web and mobile accessibility standards, including WCAG.
• The ability to read or debug code in a language such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience explaining technical accessibility findings to engineers, designers, and product partners.
• Clear written judgment about impact, priority, and practical remediation.

Preferred experience

• Experience maintaining accessibility automation at the code level.
• Knowledge of accessibility laws and standards beyond WCAG.
