Analytics Engineer
You will turn business questions into trusted metrics, data models, analyses, and self-service tools.
About the role
The role spans metric definition, data modeling, transformation, validation, visualization, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder partnership.
What you'll do
- Translate business needs into clear metrics, data models, analyses, and technical solutions.
- Create and maintain trusted datasets, dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.
- Validate data and metric definitions and document assumptions and limitations.
- Explain complex findings in clear written, visual, and verbal formats.
What we're looking for
- Experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business intelligence, or a related data role.
- Strong SQL and data-modeling skills with careful attention to data quality.
- Experience with a quantitative programming language and modern visualization tools.
- The judgment to choose an appropriate analytical approach for the audience and decision.
Preferred experience
- Experience maintaining production data products and enabling self-service analysis.
