Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The work includes provisioning, deployment, automation, monitoring, reliability, security, capacity, cost, and incident improvement.

What you'll do

• Develop software and automation for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Improve reliability, performance, security, capacity, and cost effectiveness.
• Add monitoring, service objectives, and operational safeguards for production changes.
• Use incident reviews and recurring problems to guide durable infrastructure improvements.

What we're looking for

• Experience developing and operating production cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, container platforms, and automation.
• Strong systems, networking, security, and production-debugging fundamentals.
• The ability to make practical reliability and cost tradeoffs under changing requirements.

Preferred experience

• Experience with service-level objectives, capacity planning, incident management, or resilience testing.
