Employment Counsel

About the role

The role includes policy interpretation, legal advice, investigations, grievance resolution, risk assessment, documentation, stakeholder guidance, and employment-practice improvements.

What you'll do

• Provide practical legal guidance on workplace policies, employee relations, and employment decisions.
• Support fair, thorough, and timely workplace investigations and grievance resolution.
• Assess risk, document advice, and escalate significant employment matters appropriately.
• Partner with People, compliance, security, and business leaders on consistent employment practices.

What we're looking for

• A JD or equivalent legal qualification and authorization to practice in an applicable jurisdiction.
• Experience advising on employment law, employee relations, investigations, or workplace compliance.
• Strong legal analysis, interviewing, writing, judgment, and stakeholder-management skills.
• The ability to interpret policy and legal advice and explain recommendations clearly.

Preferred experience

• Experience developing investigation practices, policy guidance, or employment-compliance processes.
