Employment Counsel
You will advise people and business teams on employment matters, workplace concerns, and fair process.
About the role
The role includes policy interpretation, legal advice, investigations, grievance resolution, risk assessment, documentation, stakeholder guidance, and employment-practice improvements.
What you'll do
- Provide practical legal guidance on workplace policies, employee relations, and employment decisions.
- Support fair, thorough, and timely workplace investigations and grievance resolution.
- Assess risk, document advice, and escalate significant employment matters appropriately.
- Partner with People, compliance, security, and business leaders on consistent employment practices.
What we're looking for
- A JD or equivalent legal qualification and authorization to practice in an applicable jurisdiction.
- Experience advising on employment law, employee relations, investigations, or workplace compliance.
- Strong legal analysis, interviewing, writing, judgment, and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to interpret policy and legal advice and explain recommendations clearly.
Preferred experience
- Experience developing investigation practices, policy guidance, or employment-compliance processes.
