Forward Deployed Engineer
You will work closely with customers to deliver production applications and resolve technical deployment problems.
About the role
The role combines customer discovery, full-stack engineering, prototyping, production delivery, technical guidance, relationship management, and product feedback.
What you'll do
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into scoped technical delivery plans.
- Develop prototypes and production applications in customer environments.
- Guide implementation, testing, launch readiness, troubleshooting, and operational handoff.
- Turn repeatable lessons into tools, playbooks, and product feedback.
What we're looking for
- Experience in forward-deployed engineering, software engineering with consulting work, or another customer-facing technical role.
- Strong full-stack programming skills and experience shipping production applications.
- The ability to scope ambiguous work, sequence delivery, and make clear quality and timing tradeoffs.
- Strong customer communication and cross-organizational collaboration.
Preferred experience
- Experience codifying customer implementations into reusable tools or deployment patterns.
