Government Affairs Manager
You will represent the company in public-policy discussions and bring external policy developments back to internal teams.
About the role
The role includes government-affairs strategy, policymaker engagement, regulatory analysis, industry groups, civil-society relationships, campaigns, internal advice, written briefings, and cross-functional coordination.
What you'll do
- Develop and carry out government-affairs and public-policy strategies.
- Represent the company in appropriate discussions with policymakers and government stakeholders.
- Work with industry groups, nonprofit organizations, academics, and other policy partners.
- Provide timely policy analysis and practical counsel to internal teams and leaders.
What we're looking for
- Experience in technology policy, government, a think tank, a public-interest group, or corporate public policy.
- Knowledge of the United States policy and regulatory environment relevant to technology.
- The ability to learn technical and regulatory issues quickly and explain them clearly.
- Excellent communication, presentation, project-management, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred experience
- Experience working across federal and state policy issues or multi-stakeholder coalitions.
