ML Performance Engineer

About the role

The role centers on profiling, benchmarking, monitoring, debugging, throughput, efficiency, and reliability.

What you'll do

• Profile machine learning workloads to identify important performance bottlenecks.
• Develop tooling that monitors and visualizes performance, throughput, efficiency, and reliability.
• Work with systems and machine learning engineers to improve performance across software layers.
• Translate profiling data into practical changes and verify the result with repeatable measurements.

What we're looking for

• Software engineering or machine learning experience focused on performance.
• Strong Python and systems programming skills.
• Experience with profiling, benchmarking, and debugging complex systems.
• Experience explaining performance measurements and engineering tradeoffs clearly.

Preferred experience

• Experience with machine learning framework internals or performance-critical code.
