Mobile Platform Engineer

About the role

The work focuses on reusable mobile components, application architecture, testing, performance, reliability, security, and developer workflows.

What you'll do

• Develop reusable mobile components that support consistent behavior across iOS and Android.
• Improve testing frameworks and application architecture for long-term maintainability.
• Help product engineers diagnose performance, reliability, and security problems.
• Document mobile development practices and improve the workflows used to release client changes.
• Work with iOS, Android, product, design, and backend partners on shared technical decisions.

What we're looking for

• Professional experience shipping production mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of either the Apple or Android development ecosystem and working knowledge of the other.
• Experience designing reusable components or frameworks for multiple product teams.
• Experience improving mobile testing, architecture, performance, reliability, or security.
• Clear communication about technical decisions that affect several teams.

Preferred experience

• Production experience with both Swift and Kotlin.
• Experience maintaining shared mobile release or testing infrastructure.
