Network Engineer

About the role

The work includes standards, capacity, provisioning, monitoring, automation, changes, troubleshooting, incident response, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Design, provision, and maintain network services using documented standards.
• Monitor performance and availability and troubleshoot hardware, software, circuit, and configuration issues.
• Plan and execute network changes, upgrades, migrations, and capacity improvements.
• Automate repeatable configuration and operational work and improve network documentation.

What we're looking for

• Experience designing and operating production enterprise or service-provider networks.
• Strong network protocol, switching, wireless, security, and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Experience with network monitoring, packet analysis, configuration management, and change control.
• Scripting or automation skills and clear incident communication.

Preferred experience

• Experience with cloud connectivity, infrastructure as code, or network security controls.
