Platform Engineer
You will develop shared platform software that makes product engineering safer, faster, and more reliable.
About the role
The work includes shared services, developer interfaces, deployment and operational tools, reliability, performance, security, and platform usability.
What you'll do
- Design and implement shared services, libraries, interfaces, and operational tools.
- Improve platform reliability, performance, security, and ease of use.
- Diagnose complex production issues and automate recurring operational work.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams on reusable technical foundations.
What we're looking for
- Experience developing backend or platform software used by other engineering teams.
- Strong systems design, networking, programming, and production-operations skills.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, service platforms, containers, or developer tools.
- A product-focused approach to shared systems and developer usability.
Preferred experience
- Experience setting technical direction for a foundational platform project.
