Public Policy Manager
You will analyze technology policy and turn external developments into clear internal and external plans.
About the role
The role includes policy research, legislative monitoring, risk analysis, stakeholder engagement, campaigns, product guidance, briefs, narratives, and coordination with legal, product, engineering, safety, marketing, and communications.
What you'll do
- Monitor legislative, regulatory, and policy developments that affect technology products and users.
- Develop policy strategies, execution plans, briefs, and clear explanatory materials.
- Engage policymakers, civil-society groups, industry partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Advise product and business teams on policy risks, user impacts, and responsible launch considerations.
What we're looking for
- Experience in policy analysis or campaigns involving technology issues.
- Experience in government, a think tank, a public-interest group, an industry group, or corporate policy.
- Strong research, writing, regulatory analysis, stakeholder-engagement, and project-management skills.
- The ability to translate fast-moving policy developments into practical product and business guidance.
Preferred experience
- Experience with privacy, consumer protection, online safety, content, or another regulated technology area.
