Regulatory Counsel

About the role

The role includes investigations, inquiries, information requests, regulator engagement, written responses, document collection, outside counsel, legal analysis, trend tracking, and response processes.

What you'll do

• Manage regulatory inquiries and investigations from initial contact through resolution.
• Scope requests, coordinate information collection, prepare responses, and support witnesses.
• Work with product, policy, technical, and business teams to evaluate risk and develop response strategies.
• Track regulatory developments and maintain playbooks and processes for consistent response.

What we're looking for

• A JD or equivalent legal qualification and active membership in an applicable bar.
• Experience managing government or regulatory investigations, inquiries, or enforcement matters.
• Strong legal writing, analysis, communication, and outside-counsel management skills.
• Sound judgment under time pressure and the ability to work with incomplete information.

Preferred experience

• Experience with technology-sector regulators, litigation, or cross-border regulatory matters.
