Reinforcement Learning Researcher

About the role

The work includes algorithm development, experiment design, statistical analysis, training dynamics, model behavior, and collaboration with research engineers.

What you'll do

• Research and develop reinforcement learning algorithms.
• Design controlled experiments and analyze learning dynamics and model behavior.
• Iterate on methods using clear objectives, trustworthy measurements, and careful error analysis.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to apply successful approaches in training work.

What we're looking for

• A strong background in reinforcement learning, machine learning research, or a related field.
• Strong programming, engineering, and statistical-analysis skills.
• Experience drawing reliable conclusions from imperfect or evolving objectives and data.
• The ability to work effectively in a large machine learning codebase.

Preferred experience

• Research contributions in reinforcement learning, reasoning, synthetic environments, or model evaluation.
