Research Engineer
You will create the software, experiments, and analysis tools that help researchers test ideas reliably.
About the role
The role combines strong software engineering with experimental design, rapid prototyping, quantitative analysis, and reproducible research practice.
What you'll do
- Implement research ideas as clear, testable experiments and prototypes.
- Create tools for running experiments, collecting measurements, and analyzing results.
- Improve the reliability, speed, and reproducibility of research workflows.
- Work closely with research scientists to refine questions and interpret evidence.
What we're looking for
- Strong software engineering skills and experience supporting machine learning research.
- Proficiency in Python and common machine learning research tools.
- The ability to design experiments, inspect results, and debug complex technical problems.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with researchers and engineers.
Preferred experience
- Research publications, open-source work, or equivalent technical contributions.
