Research Program Manager
You will turn complex research priorities into clear programs, decisions, and execution plans.
About the role
The work includes scoping technical programs, setting success measures, coordinating dependencies, tracking risks and results, and keeping research decisions visible.
What you'll do
- Translate ambiguous research needs into priorities, milestones, and actionable plans.
- Coordinate complex initiatives across research, engineering, product, and operations partners.
- Establish lightweight processes for reviews, decisions, risks, results, and follow-through.
- Give technical leaders clear, timely information for prioritization and tradeoff decisions.
What we're looking for
- Experience leading technical programs in machine learning research or advanced engineering.
- Strong organizational, stakeholder-management, and written communication skills.
- The technical judgment to understand experiments, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
- A record of guiding high-uncertainty work without adding unnecessary process.
Preferred experience
- Hands-on experience in machine learning engineering, research, evaluation, or data analysis.
