Research Scientist

About the role

The role covers research direction, method development, controlled experimentation, quantitative analysis, and collaboration across research teams.

What you'll do

• Choose important research problems and develop a coherent research plan.
• Develop new machine learning ideas and improve existing methods.
• Design experiments, analyze results, and test whether findings generalize.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers and communicate findings clearly.

What we're looking for

• A record of developing original machine learning ideas or making substantial improvements to existing work.
• The ability to set and pursue a research agenda over long-running projects.
• Strong experimental, quantitative, and programming skills.
• Sound judgment about the limits and wider effects of technical work.

Preferred experience

• First-author publications, notable projects, open-source work, or equivalent research contributions.
