Security Operations Engineer

About the role

The role combines security platform engineering, logging, detection, investigation, response, automation, and operational improvement.

What you'll do

• Configure and maintain security monitoring, logging, detection, and response tools.
• Investigate security events, determine scope and root cause, and support containment and remediation.
• Automate security tasks and workflows to improve speed, consistency, and evidence quality.
• Document procedures, measure operational results, and improve playbooks after incidents.

What we're looking for

• Experience in security operations, detection engineering, incident response, or platform security.
• Experience with security logs, monitoring systems, investigations, and response procedures.
• Scripting and troubleshooting skills for security automation and platform work.
• Calm, precise communication during urgent and ambiguous events.

Preferred experience

• Experience with cloud security, container security, forensic analysis, or logging pipelines.
