Software Engineering Manager
You will lead a software engineering team and create the conditions for strong technical work and healthy execution.
About the role
The role includes people leadership, hiring, coaching, technical direction, planning, cross-functional coordination, delivery, and production accountability.
What you'll do
- Set clear team priorities and connect engineering work to product and business goals.
- Hire, coach, support, and develop engineers through regular feedback and clear expectations.
- Guide technical decisions, project planning, risk management, and reliable delivery.
- Coordinate effectively with product, design, research, security, and other engineering teams.
What we're looking for
- Experience managing software engineers and delivering production software.
- Strong coaching, hiring, performance-management, and team-development skills.
- The technical depth to guide design decisions and identify execution risks.
- Clear communication and sound judgment across technical and non-technical partners.
Preferred experience
- Experience leading teams through growth, changing priorities, or complex cross-team programs.
