Training Systems Engineer

About the role

The work covers training frameworks, performance measurement, debugging, code quality, reliability, and tools used by researchers and engineers.

What you'll do

• Improve training frameworks and the tools used to run and inspect training work.
• Profile training workloads and identify important performance or reliability problems.
• Debug broken training jobs, unreliable workflows, and difficult software failures.
• Develop monitoring and benchmarks that make improvements measurable.

What we're looking for

• Strong software engineering skills in Python and a systems language.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks, training systems, or related infrastructure.
• Experience profiling, benchmarking, and debugging complex software systems.
• The ability to translate measurements and failures into practical engineering changes.

Preferred experience

• Experience improving training runtime, scheduling, data loading, or checkpointing software.
