Which Leiolai API formats accept images?
Leiolai Chat Completions, Responses, and Anthropic Messages accept images supplied as base64 data URLs or base64 image blocks in the documented format. The API supports images in Leiolai Research and Private modes.
Can I supply a code file or text document?
Leiolai Chat Completions and Responses accept supported inline files containing UTF-8 text or code, up to 2 MiB per file. Supply the file content directly in the documented request format.
Can I send a PDF or a remote image URL?
No. Leiolai’s inline-file inputs accept UTF-8 text or code, up to 2 MiB per file. Images must be supplied as base64 data; remote image URLs and binary PDFs are not accepted. Extract the PDF’s text before sending that text in a supported input format.
Can images and text be included in one request?
Yes. The supported multimodal formats allow a message to contain text and image content. Include your question alongside the image so Leiolai has the task and the visual material together.
Can I add an image during continuous generation?
Yes.
The Leiolai continuous-generation API accepts a live image update through an inject request.
Continuous output and changing contextHow should I ask a question about an image?
Send the image as base64 content in the shape required by your Leiolai endpoint, and include a text question alongside the image. For a chart, name the series or comparison you want explained; for a diagram, name the component or relationship you want to examine.
Image formats and useful questionsHow should I prepare a text or code file?
In the Leiolai API, use a supported inline UTF-8 text or code file, with a maximum of 2 MiB per file. Put the question or instruction alongside the material. Ask for references to supplied sections when the answer needs to be grounded in the file.
Prepare long materialCan confidential material use the same input formats?
Supported image and text inputs work with Leiolai Private. Use a Leiolai Private-only key or set private on an unrestricted key. Research is for non-sensitive material; the key’s permission must match the requested mode.
Choose handling for the materialWhat changes when I add context during continuous generation?
In the Leiolai API, supported files belong in the opening request. Later updates use the documented text or image injection fields, and a new image replaces the prior image. Keep the session ID and use the same key for updates.
