How do I ask Leiolai questions about text I provide?
Give Leiolai the source text and the question you want answered. Ask Leiolai to cite the supporting section or passage. You can ask for a summary, a comparison between sections, or requirements stated in the text. Keep the headings and section labels so you can check the answer against the source. Choose Leiolai Private for confidential material.

What should I include with the source?
Give Leiolai the question you want answered and the text relevant to that question. Keep useful headings and section labels. For example: “Using sections 2 and 4, explain the differences in requirements and quote the sentence that establishes each difference.”
How do I request an answer limited to the supplied material?
Ask Leiolai to identify what the source states and mark any unanswered part of your question. Ask Leiolai: “Use only the material below for factual claims. Give the supporting section for each conclusion and list information the source does not provide.”
Can I compare two versions of a document?
Yes. Give Leiolai both versions with clear labels and ask for the changes that matter to you: requirements, deadlines, definitions, or wording. For example: “Make a table with the old passage, the new passage, and the consequence of each change.”
Comparison promptsHow do I extract requirements from a source?
Ask Leiolai for each requirement, its supporting passage, and any condition or exception stated in the source. Request separate rows for separate requirements. If you want a checklist, specify what counts as complete and preserve references so the checklist can be checked against the document.
How should I ask for a supporting quote?
Ask Leiolai for the shortest passage that supports the point and retain the section or paragraph label. Compare the returned quotation with the source text. For a long source, tell Leiolai which question the quote must answer rather than asking for quotations about the topic in general.
Can I ask a follow-up about an unclear passage?
Yes. Ask Leiolai to explain the passage with a simpler paraphrase, worked example, or definition of an unfamiliar term. Keep the relevant source available in the conversation or API request.
Follow-up instructionsHow do I supply source files through the API?
